Clubs/Programs
Students are able to join a number of clubs/programs offered in the school.
Student Council - Lead by the Gr. 6 & 7's, students plan and organize a variety of school events.
Run Club - Held every Monday and Wednesday at lunch, students learn a variety of fitness activities. Students are encouraged to register for races held at various locations throughout the year.
Safety Patrols - A team of student volunteers from grades 5, 6 & 7 assist students to depart safely from the school. Training begins in September. Volunteers enjoy an end of year patrol party.
Helping Hands - Students from grades 4 - 7 sign-up to volunteer for a variety of jobs throughout the school.
- Library helpers - students check in and reshelve books, and help keep the library organized.
- Lunch supervisors - students supervise in the ECS - Gr. 4 classrooms during lunch hour to help student warm-up lunches, open containers and ensure lunch time rules are being followed
- Playground helpers - students help supervise the playground, organize games and assist younger students on the equipment
- Office helpers - Gr.7 students volunteer in the office during lunch answering phones, taking messagese and welcoming visitors
- Canteen - Gr. 7 students work in the canteen during lunch
- Gr. 1 hlepers - students help the Gr. 1's exchange their home reading books in the morning before class starts
- Coat helpers - during the winter months, volunteers help the younger students put on and do up their coats so students can get outside quickly
Bible Memory Club - Students will meet every second week to learn bible verses through a variety of fun activities.
Choir - Students meet once a week to take part in a variety of singing opportunities
